Isaiah 26:3 - He Will Keep You in Perfect Peace

Isaiah 26:3 just might become my verse of the year.

At least - it's the verse for right now.

I am so thankful January has been spent at home, in Poipet, and not traveling around or stressed out about major changes. I feel in a good head space about the major changes about to take place in 6 weeks, give or take {see the last baby update here}.

But there's still a lot of uncertainty. Bangkok has exploded into political protests and unrest, although our friends there reassure us their lives are carrying on as normal, with few interruptions as long as they stay away from the hot spots. {Bangkok is where we'll be moving in a few weeks to deliver our baby.}

Seriously, though? We're moving to a different country temporarily. I'm going to push a baby out of my body. I'm going to be a mom. That's some big stuff.

But reading Isaiah reminds me that God will keep me in perfect peace when my mind is set on him. On his truth. Not on what I see with my eyes or hear with my ears. And it's not just a feel-good-no-anxiety-peace. It's resting in the truth that he is sovereign, he has good plans for us, and he is our rock in the middle of stormy change.

And this print? Joy from Smalltown Joy sells it in her shop, and profits go towards covering her son's medical expenses. I usually make my own little graphics on Saturday posts for fun. But when I saw the print in her shop and read her story, I wanted to share it with you. Check out her Etsy shop here and read about her family on her blog! {nope, I don't get anything from talking about her shop - I just wanted to support her!}

What truth gives you peace in the crazy moments of life?
